Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is Social Walks, based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

2. Promotion Period

The promotion starts at 9:00am AEST on Thursday 1 May 2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Saturday 31 May 2025. No entries will be accepted after this time.

3. Eligibility
  • Entry is open to anyone who registers for a paid Social Walks Membership during the month of May, 2025.
  • Entrants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
  • Only one entry per person will be accepted.
  • By entering, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
4. How to Enter

To enter the Promotion, eligible participants must have purchased a new Social Walks Membership via the Social Walks website during the Promotion Period and checked the box at time of registration to enter the draw.

5. Prize
  • One (1) winner will receive a trip to Sydney, including return flights and accommodation to the total value of $500 AUD.
  • The trip must be redeemed before 31 December 2025.
  • Travel must occur over a weekend period, and align with a scheduled Social Walks Sydney event.
  • The winner must attend at least one Social Walks event during the trip.
  • The prize is not redeemable for cash, but may be transferred to a friend or family member if the original winner is unable to attend.
6. Winner Selection
  • The winner will be selected at random by drawing a name in a real-life draw, recorded and shared on the Melbourne Social Walks (Australia) Facebook Group Page on Monday 2nd June, 2025.
  • The draw will be conducted by a designated Social Walks team member.
  • All valid entries will be included in the draw.
7. Prize Redemption

The winner will be contacted directly to arrange preferred dates and confirm event availability. Flights and accommodation will be booked by Social Walks in consultation with the winner. Any travel or personal expenses beyond the $500 value will be the responsibility of the winner.

8. Privacy

By entering this promotion, participants agree to have their name announced publicly if selected as the winner. All personal data will be handled in accordance with Social Walks’ Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties.

9. General Conditions
  • Social Walks reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms and Conditions.
  • If the winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize, Social Walks may conduct a redraw.
  • Social Walks reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Promotion if required due to circumstances beyond its control.
